Why turbo is the right rim for pavers
A turbo rim is a continuous edge with a serrated, wavy profile, sitting deliberately between a segmented blade and a plain continuous one. The serrations move enough air and spoil to allow dry cutting, while the unbroken edge prevents the top-face chipping a segmented blade leaves on a concrete paver or a face brick. Hard bond for abrasive material
Pavers and brick are abrasive, and abrasive material scours a soft matrix away in days rather than months. Cutting dry, and the silica problem
Most paver cutting is dry, because the work is outdoors and away from a water supply. It is also one of the highest silica-exposure tasks on any site, and a dry-cut paver produces a visible dust plume in a residential setting where neighbors notice. Getting a clean edge every time
Support the paver fully so the offcut cannot drop and break the arris as the blade exits. Cut from the face that will be visible where you have the choice. Do not force the feed; a turbo rim cuts fast enough without help, and pushing generates heat that glazes the rim. On a long border run, mark and cut in batches rather than one at a time, because a consistent setup gives a consistent edge.

Crews doing hardscape often also cut block for retaining structures and occasionally concrete for footings and edge restraints. Block and CMU want a segmented rim rather than turbo, and belong under masonry and block.
