Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of dotdiamondtools.com and every order placed through it. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms together with our Returns and Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Who you are contracting with
DOT Diamond Tools, 770 SE 19th Ave, Suite 1, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441, United States. Telephone (701) 922-1526. Email info@dotdiamondtools.com.
2. Products and specifications
We describe every product as accurately as we can, including bond hardness, segment type, cutting method and available diameters. Photographs are representative; manufacturers change appearance and packaging without notice.
Specifications for third-party machines are published by their manufacturers, and we reproduce them as supplied. Where a machine specification is critical to your purchase, confirm it against the manufacturer’s current data sheet before ordering.
3. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, including where an item is out of stock, where a price or specification has been published in error, or where we cannot verify the payment or delivery details. If we cancel, we refund in full.
4. Pricing and payment
- All prices are in US dollars (USD).
- Prices exclude shipping, which is calculated at checkout.
- Payment is taken at the time of order.
- Obvious pricing errors do not bind us. Where a price is clearly wrong we will contact you before processing and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel.
By submitting payment details you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method.
5. Delivery, title and risk
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier delays are outside our control. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery. Inspect your delivery on arrival and report transit damage within 5 business days, as set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
6. Returns, refunds and cancellation
Returns, refunds and order cancellation are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: a 30-day return window, an RMA number required before returning goods, a restocking fee on non-defective returns, and no returns on tooling that has been mounted or used.
7. Safe use of cutting tools
Diamond tooling is professional equipment and is dangerous if misused. You are responsible for ensuring that products are used by competent operators, fitted to machines they are rated for, and used within their specification.
In particular: never exceed the maximum rated spindle speed marked on a blade; never run a wet-only product dry; use the correct guarding, eye protection and respiratory protection; and follow all applicable workplace safety regulations, including silica dust controls. Our silica dust guidance is provided as general information and is not a substitute for your own compliance obligations.
We accept no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from misuse, incorrect fitting, use outside specification, or failure to follow safety requirements.
8. Warranties
DOT-branded consumables are warranted against manufacturing defects for 30 days from delivery, as set out in the returns policy. Diamond tooling is a consumable and normal wear is not a defect.
Machines and powered equipment carry the manufacturer’s own warranty, on the manufacturer’s terms. We will assist with a claim but we are not the warrantor.
Except as expressly stated, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or connected to any order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of contract, downtime, plant hire costs, delay to a project, or the cost of rectifying work. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Advice and guidance
The guidance on this site, and any recommendation we give by phone or email, is offered in good faith based on the information you provide. Site conditions vary. Final responsibility for selecting the right tool for the job rests with you.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, guides, photography and layout, belongs to DOT Diamond Tools or its licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission. Manufacturer names, product names and logos belong to their respective owners.
12. Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts of Florida have jurisdiction over any dispute.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published at the time you place an order governs that order. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
