Description
Once the job is roadway, slab or car park work, handheld sawing stops making sense. A walk-behind saw carries its own weight into the cut, holds a straight line over a long run without an operator fighting it, and takes depth in one pass that a handheld machine would need three passes to reach.
What is in the package
- Husqvarna FS305 walk-behind floor saw.
- Two DOT Walk-Behind Pro Blades — medium bond, segmented, wet, suited to both cured concrete and asphalt.
The work it is bought for
Control joints in a new slab, trench cuts for utilities across a car park, full-depth pavement repair boundaries, expansion joints in a warehouse floor, demolition boundary cuts before a breaker goes in. Two blades gives you a working blade and a spare on the trailer, which on a road closure is the difference between finishing the shift and coming back.
Run wet — the machine is designed for it, and it buys blade life as well as dust control. Set your blade diameter by the depth you need, allowing about a third of the diameter per pass. Other machines are in walk-behind saws; blade options in the Walk-Behind Pro range.
For engine size, maximum blade diameter and cutting depth, refer to the current FS305 data sheet.
