Description

Green concrete goes down at first light and the saw crew is on it the same afternoon. Cut too early and the joint ravels; cut too late and the slab has already cracked where it wanted to rather than where you sawed. That window — commonly four to twelve hours after placement, depending on mix and weather — is the job this blade exists for.

Hard bond, because green concrete is abrasive

Fresh concrete has not developed its strength, so the sand and fines behave like loose grit and tear diamonds out of a soft matrix within minutes. The XT runs a hard bond that grips each diamond far longer against that scouring. Undercut protection below the segments shields the core shoulders, which is where green-concrete slurry does its worst damage on a walk-behind.

Sizes and saws

Seven diameters, 14″ to 36″, sized for walk-behind and flat saws on control-joint sawing, roadway pours and slab-on-grade work. Run it wet or dry — wet on a walk-behind for maximum life and dust suppression, dry on a handheld where no water feed exists.
