DOT All-Cut General Purpose Blade

Not every cut justifies a premium blade. Trimming a few blocks to fit, dressing a slab edge, opening a hole for a junction box, cutting a stub of rebar chair flush — this is the blade that lives in the truck box and gets picked up without much thought.

Honest about what this is

The All-Cut is an economy grade blade and it is priced that way. Diamond concentration is lower than the DOT professional range, so on sustained production cutting it wears faster and works out dearer per linear foot than a properly matched blade. For occasional, mixed, small-scale cutting it is the sensible purchase — and spending two hundred dollars on a blade for that work is not.

Diameters and fit

Five sizes spanning 4.5″ to 14″. The small ones mount on a standard angle grinder; the larger ones suit a handheld cut-off saw. A turbo rim and a medium bond give a genuine middle setting, cutting block, brick, concrete and general masonry dry without a blade change.

• Right for: punch-list work, small repairs, second-fix cutting, anything unpredictable.
• Wrong for: cured slab sawing, control joints, and any day-in day-out production cutting.
